Course Description
This course is intended to instruct BAR certified repair technician the Function and operation of sensor and engine management control technology currently in production and in use on the wide range of vehicles subject to the California Smog Check inspection program. Topics covered are Theory , operation and testing of each technology used in each sensor type used on modern automobile and theory, operation and testing of each technology used in each actuator type of a modern automotive control system.The course also focuses on the understanding of the electrical circuits for each sensor type and actuator type.
